If you get behind on keeping track of the temps, you can always check weather.com, because they have the whole month of temps for your zip code. I just finished an afghan using satin yarn for my granddaughter as she goes off to college. I washed it in the machine on gentle with woollite and dried it in the dryer. It became too soft and relaxed that all the ends that I had woven in had come out, it lost all its body. I wanted it to be an afghan that my granddaughter could enjoy and not worry about and it could take the occasional washing. Now I don't know whether to give it to her or not. Has anyone else had this problem and what should I be washing it in? Thank you for any help.
