Bernat Satin is a WONDERFUL yarn! So soft, and easy to work with. Makes lovely garments and blankets and hats and scarves…and just about anything else!

  2. Eileen K says:

Satin is lovely–so soft, and doesn’t come apart like some other similar yarns do. I liked Softee Chunky until Bernat made it super bulky–I have very little use for it now.

  3. cis says:

Bernat Satin has been my ‘go to’ yarn for so many projects. It glides on the hooks or needles, whichever you are using, and it is durable and holds up and the finished projects look great.

  4. Chrissie says:

I love both yarns so this was a hard vote, but I used the satin to make a bunch of stuffed animals for my baby girl and I love how soft it is and how the animals turned out. So satin got my vote!

  5. Phyllis Cook says:

Wow this is tough I like the Softee Chunk for quick projects, but the sating is great for sweaters….hmmm……. I will choose Softee Chunk, because it is quick. Great for weekend projects.

  6. Karen Chambers says:

I actually used to like Softee Chunky until they changed it to a thicker yarn. I still have not found a replacement for my treasured patterns in the old yarn. So by default I voted Satin which is wonderful for delicates but doesn’t have the durability my family seems to need.

  7. Teri W. says:

The Softee Chunky is great for those OH-SO-COMFY afghans, but for everything else, it has to be Satin.

  8. Phyllis G says:

Satin is great for all kinds of nice, soft projects with body.

  9. Tracey McIntyre says:

Satin is just that. Smooth satin, a joy to handle.

  10. Joy says:

Chunky in mixed colors is FUN

  11. Becky says:

The softee chuncky is what the little ones lean towards….
but I do like the feel of the satin…

    The choices are amazing!!!

  12. Lise Legris says:

Bernat Satin gets my vote. I knitted ponchos for my grandchildren in it and they love the look and the feel of it.
