We’re on a quest to crown the Ultimate Bernat Yarn in our own crafty version of March Madness, and we need your help! From March 18th to April 8th, 16 competing yarns will go head-to-head until only two yarns remain to battle for the title of Ultimate Bernat Yarn!

Not going out on too much of a limb predicting that Bernat Satin will sweep the field. Love that yarn…and I have the receipts to prove it!
I agree with Ellen — Satin is great for garments and blankets, adult and baby things, and the colors are fabulous! Other contenders: Mosaic (I made two scarves from it and get compliments every time I wear them) and Handicrafter Cotton…Softee Baby and Softee Chunky…Angora…I really wouldn’t be surprised to see any of these yarns win!
My favorite is the Softee Chunky. Either me or Ellen will be disappointed real quick. LOL!

Bernat Satin is very nice…I agree. But, I’m very partial to Baby Jacquards!
I agree. I make sweaters, blankets and more for my friends’ babies with Baby Jacquards. I LOVE IT! And hope it NEVER stops being made.

Sadly, a few yarns didn’t make the cut this year! Next year we’ll look into having the fans pick the wild card yarns!

Baby Blanket is without a doubt is my most favorite. Other yarn makers have nothing to compare to how wonderful it works up. I can’t get enough of it. I’ve used this for baby blankets and now am making afghans for a 23 yr old boy and a 17 yr old girl since I found some colors, only briefly available, in colors other than traditional baby colors. Just recently made a baby blanket with it and took it to a baby shower and got rave reviews compared to blankets made with other more common yarns. It is so soft, squishy and unique. I bought all that I could find in the new colors and even drove to other cities to get more. Bernat, please keep this yarn and bring us more color choices for adults. Everyone in my family wants something made with Baby Blankets. It is the best chenille easy care yarn I’ve found.

I make baby through adult afghans for a living ad only use Bernat. I just love mosaic and supervalue.
