Community Update #21

Holding onto our Knit/Crochet MOJO!

Some of us in the Bernat Forums (myself included) experienced a loss of our knit/crochet mojo this month.  For some, it was just pure exhaustion after the holidays.  For others, it was a guilty feeling for not completing projects we have promised to make for others.

But, we are not letting those woes keep us down.  We are fighting back!

One way we can keep our crafty spirits up is to be entirely selfish, making something lovely just for ourselves. :)    (Hey, if it works, go for it!)

My personal “get my mojo back” project is the Aran Cables Cardigan, from the Bernat “Autumn Knits” pattern book.  You can purchase a PDF copy of that book from the Bernat Shop!  (includes 14 patterns for sizes Extra Small to 5X)

I’ve decided to use a happy, bright color of yarn, to make it even easier to lift my spirits!  Take a look at this peppy Peony Pink shade of Bernat Softee Chunky. :)  Guaranteed to make anyone smile!

Maybe you’d like to make this cardigan as well?  If so, be sure to tell us about it in the Aran Cables Cardigan KAL discussion in the forum. Which color of yarn will YOU choose?

About shandeh

I started knitting in 2003, and it is now a major part of my life. In 2010, I learned how to crochet better as well, in the Bernat Mystery Blanket CAL. Now, I am confident with both crafts!

    thanks for your time,

I love your idea. Instead of starting a new aran sweater, I pulled one out that I started more than a decade ago and just finished it!! Thanks for the inspiration!
