You can take it with you. Finding knitting and crocheting time is tough when you’re a busy parent, so I recommend keeping a project in your diaper bag. That way you’ll always be ready for those unexpected opportunities to getting a little stitching done!
I also find summer & holiday road trips are a great time for me to knit…only when someone else is driving of course. I especially like knitting an easy repeat pattern so I can still enjoy some scenery.
