I am so in love with the Bernat Baby Blanket yarn. SO SOFT! OMG!
It sure is a joy knitting with this yarn. The blanket I’m knitting is simple and beautiful. I’m using Bernat’s Simple Basketweave design in the Stitch Gallery section of the website.
So far, so good! This blanket is going very fast, and looks more lovely every day. I’ve already completed one third of the blanket! Can’t wait to give it to my friend for her new baby boy. 
Whenever I sit down to work on this blanket, I just love feeling the yarn as it slides through my fingers. I wish I could keep this blanket for myself! Maybe I’ll buy several more skeins in pink and white, to make a lapghan for my craft room. 
Have you seen the Bernat Baby Blanket yarn in your local craft store? You really should check it out. You’ll also find lots of other new Bernat yarns there, I’m sure. And who doesn’t love going to buy yarn?!

I know this probably isn’t the right place but can you tell me if the Bernat website is experiencing problems with the orders and emails? I keep trying to place an order without luck and have sent numerous emails that haven’t been returned.

Hi Everyone.. my first time here.
I just finished with the granny square baby blanket using the new yarn,Barnat BABY Blanket, (super bulky). Wonderful yarn to work with. I finished this blanket in one day. I used colors: blue and white only. I would take a pic to share, but never have done that.

This looks like a wonderful quick project. Would you mind telling me which size needles you used, how many skeins of yarn it took and the finished dimensions?

I used size 11 needles, cast on 72 stitches, and used 5 small skeins of Bernat Baby Blanket yarn. I’m a tight knitter, so keep that in mind when planning your own blanket. You might want an extra skein, just in case. My finished blanket was 36 inches square.
