Project – Wavy Ripple Blanket in Bernat Baby Coordinates
BernatCares free pattern

How does my blankie grow?  Very well!  It’s coming along nicely.  In fact, I’m surprised at how quickly the project has progressed.

I’d say I’m probably three-quarters of the way through.  The pattern dimensions say that it should be about 99cm long (just shy of a meter).  I’m already at 70cm, so not much further to go.  Yippee!

This blankie would make a really neat gift for a new parent-to-be.  And I bet if you used Bernat’s Baby Coordinates Chunky and the same stitch count, your blanket would be much bigger–big enough for use by an older child or to cover the sofa . . . love it when there are so many possibilities with a pattern.  But for now, this blanket is going to charity (Project Linus through BernatCares.com Have you checked out site yet?).  How are your projects progressing?

have you noticed the left side does not match the rest of the blanket? or are you making the other end the same?

Yes I did notice Meme6 that one end doesn’t quite match the other side. I think working the border helps with that a little–although it doesn’t really bother me too much.
