Nice to finally finish this project. The crown decreases did indeed progress quickly. And then the hat sat around on my knitting table and waited . . . and waited . . . and waited.
I always drag my heels when it comes to finishing. For some reason the actual knitting is fun; can’t say the same for the finishing. Nevertheless I wove in all those ends. For the back seam, I used a worsted weight yarn in my stash that was similar in colour to the Roving. All that tugging and pulling is hard on the Roving. The final pink trim crocheted along the edging finishes it off.
My niece is gonna look cute in that hat.
