You can’t tell, but this knitter is happily jumping for joy.  Why you ask?  Oh maybe it has something to do with the fact that I have not one, but two finished items (oh yeah, I rock)!  Guess my knitting mojo was waitin’ for me ’round the corner.  Funny how I tend to bump into it when I least expect it.  And the Jacquards helped too–love, love the Juniper colour!

Once I cast on for my beret, the colour changes mesmerized.  I just kept knitting and the next thing I knew, my hat was finished (gotta love a project that requires less than a week to complete.  I could have finished sooner, but this work thing keeps getting in the way, LOL).  I’m one happy knitter.

With my beret completed, I soon took to my unfinished cardigan.  It took me all of a day to sew, seam and weave ends (lots of starts and stops), but its finished, buttons and all.

I decided to go with green buttons ‘cuz none of the pink ones matched as closely as the green ones did.  Besides, I’m rather fond of the square shape.  And the wee black buttons just finish it off.

Now I’m off the work on some mittens.  Wonder how the Jacquards will work out this time?

Great job – both projects look great! I’ll have to remember to make my daughter the watermelon sweater in the spring.
