So my vest is progressing rather nicely (if I do say so myself).  I’ve got the front done and the back is half-done (but the fun part will be adding the monster face, heehee).

I’m rather enjoying the intarsia now that I know what I’m doing.  So here’s the low-down to twisting your yarns together: the secret is to lay the “old yarn” over the “new yarn” when you’re ready to use the new yarn.  Check out the following pictures:

The same thing is done on the wrong side of your work.

The result is a chain-like link running along-side the back of your work.

Now isn’t that easy?
