This One Is "In the Bag"

The bag  is done!  And isn’t it lovely?

I stuffed it with two beach towels and they fit rather nicely with room for extra items.

Of course the handles wouldn’t sit upright (maybe I need a photographer’s assistant).  And then I figured out how to “pose” the bag.

As a beach bag, I don’t think I’d need to line the tote.  Perhaps if I use it to carry small items or pointy objects (like knitting needles), I might line it and then install a zipper with the liner.  Of course that would require sewing–ack!  Have I mentioned I can’t really sew ?  Although if I asked nicely, I’m sure my mother-in-law would assist me with any sewing operations.

For now, I’m enjoying the completion of a fast, simple project just in time for the summer.
