I’m often critical of my own knitting. I always see the flaws and I’m very rarely as happy with the finished product as I am with the process of knitting.
But, not this time.
This time I enjoyed the knitting and the finished product – and I don’t have the right words to describe the feeling of seeing my 6-year-old (who has a 16-year-old attitude) happy about something I made!
I don’t often knit the same thing twice because there are so many good patterns to choose from and I like to try new things, but my 6 year old has declared that her “very newest BFF” just must have a pair of these. So, Happy Birthday E – you too will be receiving a pair of legwarmers.
