I adore lacy cardigans. They make even the most casual outfits seem “dressy”. And since I’m often running late on my way to church on Sunday mornings, I need as many lacy cardigans as I can find! Lucky for me, Bernat has a free pattern that I really like, so I’m gonna give it a try this month.
Isn’t that pretty? The hardest part of getting started is choosing the color. Have you SEEN how many colors there are in the Bernat Satin line? Jiminy Crickets!! I counted 49 different colors on my computer screen. Wow!
So, once again, I had to use the WAY COOL Bernat Color Clicker and my computer’s Paint program to see which color would look best with my complexion.
After lots of trial and error, I pinned it down to three colors: Lavender, Snow, and Antique Rose

Way back when I first started blogging for Bernat, I was choosing colors this way for the Bernat Softee Chunky Side Button Hooded Cape. At that time, I learned that purple looks good on me, and I promised that I would make a future Bernat Blog project in purple.

So, that made my decision this month even easier. I’m going with the Lavender!

Love that pattern and the colour you picked is gorgeous! A sweater made from Satin will be awfully hard to take off though. I will be interested in watching your progress.
Thank you for the encouragement, Eva! I’ve never made a seamed cardigan before, so I’m learning a lot. And as you are saying, the Satin yarn is so touchable…I just love it!
