Summertime for me means days so long it seems like they’ll never end, sunshine and blue skies, hot dogs and hamburgers, and a big, juicy slice of watermelon.
I love how the colors of this pink camouflage Bernat Sox yarn pooled into pink and green stripes and patches – like the rind and the juicy pink flesh of a watermelon (seedless, of course).
And, now that I have accomplished a pair of basic socks, I have my eye on a new project: a baby cardigan from the Baby Gifts book. Here’s a preview of the sweater, which is knitted in pieces and seamed together.
Next time I’ll show you the finished cardigan!
