I have been so pleased with this project. It turned out just how I imagined it would, with substituting Roving for Bernat Chunky.
It will be a gift that I am going to be very proud to present to my mom for her birthday this October. I love how the texture gives it a sophisticated look as well. It is perfect for the collegiate atmosphere, which works well for my mom since she is a professor. The university she works at is in a smaller community and they do not have a lot of options for unique fashion. Something like this would definitely set her apart from the crowd, while maintaining a professional look.
The pattern was so fast and easy to crochet up, and the yarn was a joy to work with. I am thrilled with this project in every way, and am anxious to move on to the next! I can’t wait to show you all what I have in store. Check back soon to see!
