I need help on the foundation row of Clue 7 – have sts at end and total of 57 sts. Do I need to cast on 49 st to get the ending of 60 sts for the foundation row

How exciting to view so many versions of the same project. love all the wonderful colour combinations. Will be keeping my fingers crossed for when you draw the winner.

So great to see all the finished projects. I have just started knitting on Clue 8,lots of delays but I am determined to finish. I have amazed myself by being able to knit patterns I would never have attempted prior to this knit-a-long. The instructions were easy to understand, and I was always so delighted to see my square looking like the finished sample. Thank you so much for this project.
