I am trying to make bernat pattern 8035-660 from a new book I bought and I am having trouble understanding the pattern. I origionally made this sweater about 10 plus years ago and I lost my origional book which spelled out the pattern and not by a grid. I hope you can help – thanks

Do you still have the Bernat Softee Chunky Mens Hat and Scarf Pattern? I would really like to make one.
I printed the Men’s Chunky Hat and Scarf pattern to crochet, but could not find the Bernat chunky or Bernat Softee Chunky yarn as indicated, so I bought Vanna’s Choice by Lion Brand and was wondering if that would work if I follow the pattern as written? Also, the scarf pattern begins with “ch,27″. That sounds too short. After having crocheted dozens of womens scarves, I am having trouble with such a short beginning foundation.
Any advice about the yarn would be appreciated as I am anxious to get started.
