This week, it’s time to think about small quick projects – hats! Great for winter, fast and easy to make – these projects are great for last minute gifts or to try out a new yarn.

I am actually working on one of your parterns a hat for a man and I am stuck. can you please explain what the statment below means.
Inc 6 sts evenly on next and every following alt rnd to 60 sc.

Hi Christy:
I’d interpret it to mean on the next round, you increase 6 stitches. Then you do a round just as the way you always did before, and then on the 3rd round, you increase 6 stitches again. Every odd numbered row, you icrease 6 stitches until you have a total of 60 stitches. Then you read the next step..
I was looking for a pattern for a 3 month old winter hat
thanks

I just finished the baby skirt with the Jaquards yarn- so easy and so cute. I sized it up to 3T by adding 24 stitches during cast on and knitting it to 10 inches in total length- fits perfectly! I really love this pattern.
