I’m a crochet person, but willing to try anything new. Since living in country and retired I need to have lots of time to acquire my wool and on sale, please keep me posted.
I too am a crocheter, but like to knit as well, so yes, count me in on this as well.
Hello,
I have never done a blog so don’t know how to get the clues for your Afghan Knit Along project.
I would love to do this project of 30 squares to learn more about knitting. I’m a beginner so any help you can provide, please email what I should do.
Thank you very much.

I just love Bernat Satin yarn. I have spent my summer making quilt look crochet patterns with Satin. And several baby quilts out of Bernat Cottontots. I love the beautiful colors and the softness of the yarn. Gina
Gongratulations for the blog.
I speak spanish and I used to visit your web, but since some months ago the web is only in english. I hope you are thinking on making a spanish blog.
I don“t use your yarms because you only sell them in USA.
Not sure if the blog is to be used for this purpose, but I’m looking for some advice. I just knit a scarf using the “twisted purl” cast-on method for the first time. Does anyone know if there is a corresponding, complementary bind-off method to finish the scarf? Thanks.
anxious to join along
I’m VERY excited about our new blog!
I’m one of the bloggers, and I’m looking forward to getting to know all of you. I’m a knitter, and I do a little bit of crochet as well. Hopefully, the projects I choose will keep your interest.
My first project is the Bernat Side Button Hooded Cape, made with Bernat Softee Chunky yarn. It should be a nice addition to my wardrobe, and will keep me warm in the chilly fall weather.
I’ve never blogged before, love to knit, I’ve been knitting since I was 10 years old, I am 55 years old now, love new patterns and challanges. thanks, bernat I am looking forward to this one with needles ready!!!!!!

This is my first blog. I am going to try to knit along.
Crocheters have fun too! I’ve tried knitting and it just doesn’t do it for me. Can we have a mystery crochet blog too?
Does anyone have any yellow baby lash yarn by Bernat. Bernat has discontinued it and I really need some.
I learned to knit from my stepgrandma over 30 years ago. I loved it and self-taught to crochet. My 4 children are grown so I have more time for my projects. I never blogged so starting out with knitting blog sounds great.
I would love to have the pattern for the hooded cape.
Hi Marie!
Just go to the Bernat free patterns: http://www.bernat.com/pattern.php
Then type CAPE in the search box.
You’ll see the Side Button Hooded Cape pattern listed there.
In order to view the pattern, you’ll need to log into the Bernat website first. It’s free, quick, and easy.

I am new at blogging, but somewhat experienced at crocheting. I have tried and finished lots of projects. I can not get my hands to work the needles to knit. My pet projects are bags and purses.I ve done so many blankets I needed a new project. You ladies have a beautiful day.
With the snow falling today, I am looking forward to a new project. Also, trying to figure out how this blogging works; it’s all new to me.
Sounds like a great idea…but I’m busy with church and Pray Shawl ministry…so will be doing that. But will keep watching Blog so I can learn new patterns. Have about three knitting and crochetting projects going all the time. I love it.
this should be alot of fun. looking foward to seeing what this ‘mystery afagan will look like’
I love to knit so I will try to follow the blog…:)
I’m also a newbie to blogging, but I’m a fan of crocheting. This sounds interesting….
I am beginner and never done an afran because I can’t seam to put them together right. I only knit on a seasonal basis. I would like to try knit along. Hope I can finish this one.
I’m also new to blogging but will try to follow along and do it right. Always up for something new! I knit and crochet. I had grandmothers who did both, so was fortunate to learn both. No t sure if I’ll do mystery afghan as I have 6 started as Christmas presents.
This should be a lot of fun !!!!
Unsure if this is the place to post but I am trying to knit my first sock and the heel doesn’t seem right to me. I have purchased the Bernat Sox(booklet 530179) and doing the Basic Adult Sock pattern.
-got through the make heel & divide and it’s the Next Row and the 2 after. Just wondering what the heel pattern of sock is suppose to look like??
Thank You In Advance.
Hi Lori – I’ve forwarded your question on to the customer service folks for Bernat, they should be getting back to you shortly with some assistance.
Good luck!
Thank You very much! :}
